New GaGa. Vintage Tori. Just because...

More new GaGa in the form of her latest radio single The Edge of Glory. It’s kind of like Kelly Clarkson’s My Life Would Suck Without You, by way of Bonnie Tyler, with some mean Kenny G –esque sax. All this 80’s power balladry is making Y Kant Tori Read seem super fresh right now, to me at least. And for no reason other than the words Edge and Boundary are kind of in the same vein, it made me think of On the Boundary by Y Kant Tori Read.

I know that you (my tens of loyal readers) have come to rely on me as a barometer of good taste, but you don’t have to take my word for it, you can check out On the Boundary below. For maximum listening pleasure I suggest you don some sort of satin shirt, tie it at the waist, go mad with the hairspray, stand in front of a fan and play it on full blast. You’re welcome.
