Once every decade I fall a little bit in love with Ricky Martin. For about five to fifteen minutes every said decade I remember the classic hit that is Maria. I don’t speak Spanish so I’m not entirely sure what he’s singing about but if I had to hazard a guess I’d say he’s counting to three and, um... he really likes this Maria chick’s shoes?
Thanks to Spotify and hours to kill I rediscovered this little gem along with five or so of his other ‘greatest hits’ which I listen to in the office unabashedly (as soon as everyone leaves). So as soon as my boss leaves tonight I’m going to be listening to this loud and on repeat.
